Lexus introduces the LM, its all-new "luxury mover" MPV, marking a significant shift in its UK model range. This hybrid electric vehicle combines the brand's iconic omotenashi hospitality, establishing Lexus at the zenith of luxury automotive. Set for delivery in Q4, the LM paves the way for the forthcoming LBX "breakthrough crossover" in 2024, reinforcing Lexus's comprehensive UK portfolio from SUVs to sports cars.

The LM boasts dual functionality - a tranquil living space and a portable office for the on-the-go professional. Offered in both four-seat and seven-seat configurations, the latter features VIP middle-row seating and a foldable third row for added storage. The elite four-seat Takumi model redefines luxury with its multifunction rear seats and array of high-end features.

Passengers are treated to a 48-inch ultra-widescreen monitor, a bespoke 23-speaker Mark Levinson 3D Surround Sound system, and a state-of-the-art Lexus Climate Concierge for optimum comfort. All are encased in an interior that champions Lexus's vision of personalised luxury. The vehicle's unmatched refinement rivals even the priciest competitor customisations.

The LM's distinct quality is its unparalleled comfort, ensuring a ride so smooth passengers might forget they're moving. Lexus attributes this to its GA-K global passenger car platform - a departure from rivals' van-based underpinnings. Innovations like the Rear Comfort drive mode and improved suspension ensure utmost comfort and control.

The Lexus LM boasts a 247bhp hybrid powertrain, offering both front and all-wheel drive options. This combines a classic Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder petrol engine with Toyota's self-charging hybrid technology.

The Lexus LM 350h is available in three editions: the front-wheel-drive model starts at £89,995, the all-wheel-drive variant is priced at £92,995, and the premium Takumi edition tops the range at £112,995.

With over 170 orders since July, the Takumi version is a clear favourite. All LMs come with a potential 10-year or 100,000-mile warranty. This comprises of an initial three-year manufacturer warranty, followed by up to a further seven years of service-activated warranty.
